There were 22 of us celebrating a retirement. It doesn't look much from the entrance, but don't be fooled, go downstairs and it's spacious and bright, you don't notice the absence of windows. It's certainly not the cheapest Italian around, but there are plenty of 'chain' restaurants for that - but the food was delicious. Only one person was a little disappointed with their meal - the black ink spaghetti needed sauce, but everyone else thought the food lovely. There was a good choice for the vegetarians too, which made a nice change. Service was great, waiters were frequently topping up wine glasses and we weren't rushed, even though at 11pm, I think they really wanted us to go home! I'm looking forward to going back and trying out some of the other dishes.
